I’m an idiot.

7 Dec

So I was going through my blog archives looking for old photos I need for a project I’m working on – and found that a large amount of posts have pictures missing – a lot of pictures missing. I did some research and realized that when I deleted pictures from the media library to give me more space it removed them permanently from posts as well.  It just takes a little while for it to become visible on the blog which is why I didn’t notice it before.  How stupid am I?  I know this may sound dramatic but I feel like chunks of documented memories are gone and it makes me sad! I love being able to go back to old posts and see what we’ve done or how big Zoey has grown since then.

What do I do now? Do I go back through every post and reload all of the pictures that are missing? The problem is I don’t even remember which pictures I used for most of them. Even if I did that it would fill the space back up and bring me back to the decision on whether or not to pay for an upgrade to continue posting new pictures.  Ugh.  I’m such an idiot.

Florida Aquarium Part 2!

4 Dec

So Cami was right! All I needed to do was delete a bunch of uploaded pictures from the media album and I get to use more space! Problem solved.  Thanks Lou!

Here are the rest of the pictures from day two of mom and tom’s visit..

Creepy seahorse..

I didn’t realize there was an outdoor play area with a pirate ship and fountains for the kids – I need to start incorporating swimmy diapers into our everyday bag..

We headed back to Clearwater Beach to walk the pier and let Zo  wear herself out on the playground..

Poor Zo got squished.. I obviously do not belong on kid slides!

Kisses for momma..

Florida Aquarium.. Part 1?

2 Dec

While Mom and Paul were at work the first fews days before we left for the Bennett’s – Tom, Zoey and I found some fun things to do! Monday we went to the Florida Aquarium, back to Clearwater Beach then got home just in time to pick up the hard workers and head to Longhorn for dinner.

(When I first saw this picture I thought the mermaid had uneven cleavage..  But nope – just Zo’s hair!)

So.. I have more pictures of the aquarium and the beach but WordPress won’t let me upload any more until I pay for an upgrade! I didn’t realize there was a limited amount of space I could use when I first signed up.  Any advice?  Is it worth it to pay for an upgrade and stick with WordPress or should I transfer everything to Blogger? Or does Blogger make you pay once you reach your limit too?  Help!

Catch up!

29 Nov

I have about 400 new pictures from spending time with family last week! I have a lot to share but the awesome week began when my mom and her fiance tom flew in on the 20th! (Warning – photo dump ahead) We ended up meeting them at Clearwater Beach Sunday afternoon.  It was a beautiful, warm and perfect day.

“Woohooo Nana’s comin!”

It was the first time we had taken Zo to the beach since we moved here and she loved it! As we waited for mom and tom to arrive she kept rolling in the sand, putting handfuls in her hair and chasing the sea gulls – she was just so happy. I definitely need to make beach days a weekly thing..

My mom told me afterwards she was so worried Zoey wouldn’t let her hold her since it had been a month since the last time they had seen each other.  She debated on buying Twizzlers on the ride over just in case – but of course Zo started running as soon as she saw her Nana..

We didn’t bring bathingsuits to go swimming – thinking it wouldn’t be hot enough to actually get in the water – but that didn’t stop Zo!

After the beach we went to a dinner theater my mom had looked up from the airport – little did we all know we would be the youngest people there! The lady told us it started at 4 and to be there by 3:30 – after we paid we found out it didn’t actually start til 6!  We ended up staying and taking turns chasing lizards with Zoey outside. We should have got the hint after seeing the “early bird” on the menu.. 🙂

It was so so so great to see you momma and tom – we miss you already! More pictures to come!

Airfest 2011

17 Nov

A few weekends ago we went with Jonathan and Laura to the air show at the MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa.  I couldn’t believe how many people were there!  The lines to walk through each plane were insane.  When we actually got inside the pilot would tell us about their history – in one plane you could still see sand in the keyboards from being in Iraq just a few weeks beforehand. There were tents filled with special warfare that the guys had fun ogling over too, and the actual air show was amazing. I have so many pictures from the day but here are a few!

You could tell Zoey was a little nervous at first from all of the loud noise, but then she was in awe every time a plane flew by.

Waiting in line to sit in the helicopter Zoey wouldn’t leave this poor kid alone..

Definitely wasn’t expecting that last plane..
